Obverse
In the central part of the coin - the State Emblem of the Republic of Abkhazia. The semicircular inscription in Abkhaz above the State Emblem indicates the denomination of the coin 25 apsars. Under the State Emblem - the inscription in Abkhaz “Аҧсны Абанк”(The Bank of Abkhazia). In the lower left part of the coin - the mint trade mark, in the lower central part – the year of mintage "2009", in the lower right part - the indication of the metal sign in accordance with the D.I.Mendeleyev Periodic System of Elements, the fineness and the chemically pure metal content.
Reverse
The picture of nart on a horseback, under it – the inscription in Abkhaz "Нарҭ" (Nart).
